Basic Operation and Maintenance Course

Who should attend:

The Basic Operation and Maintenance School is intended for persons dealing with general operation and maintenance tasks relating to Kleemann crushing and screening machines. Attendees do not need to have prior experience with crushing and screening as all aspects will be covered from the ground up.

Overview:

The course will be an introduction to the crushing and screening industry. It is designed for people who have no prior knowledge of the industry and its processes. It also contains information for people who have experience but are new to the Kleemann line or people who may require a refresher.

After the initial introduction to the industry we will then develop the knowledge of the Kleemann product based mainly from an operators perspective covering operating procedures, setup and basic fault finding. By the end of this course the attendee will be able to understand the process that the crusher uses to crush rock and how to setup, operate, fault find and maintain the machine on a daily basis. They will understand how to optimize crusher output. Attendees will leave the course with all necessary details for contacting their local dealer for service and parts support and will have complete knowledge of the Kleemann USA service capabilities.

Objectives: 2 1/2-day course

  • Provide students with an understanding of the principles and theory behind the various types of crushing and screening techniques and how to use these principles to obtain peak performance from the specific machinery that they will be operating.
  • Provide students with an understanding of how to correctly set up, operate and maintain the machine to allow for maximized production.
  • Provide students with fault finding techniques using the Kleemann operator display panel and other fault finding aids to minimize downtime and again maximize production.
  • Provide students with all information required to contact the local support network of Kleemann USA and give students the information required to read the Kleemann parts manuals and order parts from their local dealer.
